A preview of Stour Barn; a dog-friendly cottage in Suffolk.

After almost a year in the making we now have a series of videos to give prospective guests a really good look around Woodfarm so they can choose which of our Dog-Friendly cottages they want to stay in. This one features Stour Barn, which sleeps two. Do look at the others too as we have one for each cottage, including Woodfarm House, which also sleeps two. Our barns all sleep two.

So welcome to Stour Barn; a dog-friendly cottage in Suffolk.The idea of these films is for guests to be able to choose their own cottage at Woodfarm, based upon a short movie showing you what they each have to offer. If you haven’t stayed here before then they are well worth a look as they really showcase what Woodfarm is all about. And don’t forget to watch the overall Woodfarm video too!

They have all been made by Paula Brown of Positive FX Studio, a previous guest who also happens to be a film producer! They are all within the grounds of Woodfarm House and ideally situated for exploring the whole county.

If you don’t have time to watch it right now and just want to know the main bits, this is what I say in the video:

“Stour Barn sleeps two.

It’s a coach house style so its all on one level.

You walk into an open lounge, kitchen, diner area.

There’s a leather sofa over by the back door and then a kitchen made up of nice old pine units which have been painted and distressed and topped with thick oak worktops and lovely Belfast sink.

An antique dining table, and then we’ve got the wood-burner in there.

And then through to a bedroom, which has got a bed-knobs and broomsticks type black bed in there and large double wardrobe and a shower room.

And then you come out of the lounge dining area and you walk onto your patio and then into an enclosed garden room with patio furniture and BBQ.”
