Entering through the original front door of this Suffolk farmhouse, the lobby has a quirky, winding staircase leading up to a landing which overlooks the meadow. Your bedroom features a comfy King-Sized bed, ample clothes storage, and a ‘vanity unit’ sink.
Downstairs there is a spacious sitting room with a beautiful, large inglenook fireplace. This leads through to your kitchen/ dining room, and ‘wet’ room with a large walk-in ‘rainfall’ shower. Meadow View Cottage has a fully enclosed private garden, with a fabulous ‘indoor outdoor’ room.
The wealth of centuries-old exposed oak beams give this farmhouse such a magical and cosy, yet opulent feel. You really will be stepping back in time when you come to stay. Do be mindful that people were a lot shorter 500 years ago; taller guests will have to watch their heads up in the bedroom!
Meadow View Cottage is fully centrally heated at no extra cost. We can provide logs for your gorgeous open fire, which we offer at cost as your holiday cottage is already heated.
Hot Tub Heaven
Outside this romantic holiday cottage in Suffolk you have a large, fully enclosed private garden, with its own doggy shower station, charcoal BBQ, and table and chairs for Al Fresco dining.
At the foot of the garden, tucked into the trees is your huge Hot Tub in its own fabulous ‘indoor outdoor’ room, from which you can relax and enjoy a stunning view back to the Cottage.
Your off-road parking is behind a traditional farmhouse five-bar gate.
Dog Owners
Meadow View Cottage is very ‘dog-friendly’ with an enclosed garden, and we welcome up to 3 dogs. We even leave dog treats as well as a delicious local breakfast basket for the humans!
We also have a huge fully secure two-acre meadow for our four-legged guests to run around and play with each other, along with seating for the two-legged guests to chat as well! There’s a smaller section inside for nervous or older dogs to exercise on their own.
Your historic farmhouse Cottage lies on the outskirts of the village of Stonham Aspal on the Suffolk Tourist Route, along which many popular and interesting places are found, it is within easy striking distance of the lovely Suffolk Coastal destinations like Southwold, Thorpness, Dunwich Heath, Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Orford.
All our luxury holiday cottages are down a tiny countryside lane, a few hundred yards outside the village. Bikes are also available free of charge, along with free Wifi.
