Deben Barn

SLEEPS 2 : Deben Barn is a single-storey, Coach House style retreat that is all about the art of switching off. Guests repeatedly tell us that the warm outdoor Doggy shower station is a total game-changer, proving that we really do put your four-legged mates first. Inside, the place is really cosy, with high vaulted ceilings, huge oak beams, and a squishy sofa perfect for collapsing onto after a long walk. You’ve got an antique painted brass bed that adds a bit of character without being over the top, and a powerful shower in your en-suite.

The garden is fully enclosed for peace of mind, and your private Hot Tub is right outside the back door, with screening so you can have a proper soak in total seclusion. Since it’s part of Woodfarm, your dogs stay for free and have their own two-acre meadow to go bonkers in just across the lane. It’s the ideal spot for a quiet, stress-free escape where everything has been thought of for you.

• Ground-floor double bedroom with en-suite, featuring a quirky antique painted brass double bed and vaulted, beamed ceiling.
• En-suite shower room with powerful shower and fixed rose ‘watering can’ style shower, loo, basin, and luxury hand soap.
• Egyptian cotton bedding, towels and robes.
• Fully equipped kitchen-diner with range cooker, Belfast sink, fridge, microwave, kettle, four-slice toaster, and ample work surface.
• Fully enclosed private garden with patio, BBQ, and outdoor dining table and chairs.
• Private Hot Tub right outside your door, with 30 jets, one lounger and three seats, plus privacy screening.
• All on the ground floor, with just two steps up into the hot tub from the patio.
• Underfloor heating is included, and logs for the fire are available at cost.
• We warmly welcome up to three dogs in all our Barns and Cottages, each with a fully enclosed garden.
• We also have a secure two-acre meadow gives dogs space to run and play, with a smaller area for older or nervous dogs.
• Bikes and free WiFi are included.
• Ample off-road parking is included.

Deben Barn sits in our secluded meadow next to The Granary, Woodfarm House, and Meadow View Cottage. Mature trees, a koi and goldfish pond, and a waterfall feature create a peaceful setting. There’s a shared decked area by the pond – perfect for sunsets.

We’re down a pretty country lane just outside the Suffolk village of Stonham Aspal; there are lovely walks and cycle routes straight from the Barns, and the Suffolk Coast is around 30 minutes away.

Deben Barn is named after the River Deben, which winds its way from around Debenham through to Woodbridge and on to the sea.
