Hello, it’s Carl, and in this video, I’m excited to guide you through the virtual tour of Gipping Barn. This tour is designed to give you a detailed look at one of our charming properties here at our Holiday Cottage business in Suffolk.

Introduction to Gipping Barn

The concept behind these virtual tour guides is to provide you with a firsthand view of our properties while also demonstrating how to navigate through them. Please note, this video is not professionally produced; it’s a direct walkthrough from my computer to yours.

Navigating to the Virtual Tour

To begin, from our homepage, simply scroll down to find our virtual tours section. Look for the “Take the Virtual Tour” button and click on it. This will lead you to the virtual tours homepage where you’ll find a menu listing all our properties including Gipping Barn.

Entering Full Screen Mode

For optimal viewing, click on the full-screen button located in the bottom right corner of the tour window. This allows you to explore Gipping Barn with ease. Use your mouse or finger (if on a tablet or mobile) to navigate around the virtual space.

Exploring the Surroundings

Before diving into Gipping Barn, take a moment to explore the surroundings. You can see our 2-acre meadow, The Granary Barn, Meadow View Cottage, and Woodfarm House nestled amidst the greenery. Note that the landscape has evolved with time, with trees and hedges now more mature than in the photos.

Entering through the garden room, you’ll find a spacious hot tub, perfect for a luxurious retreat. The covered garden room offers shelter while allowing you to enjoy the outdoors regardless of the weather. Hooks are available for hanging robes and towels, adding to the comfort.

Inside Gipping Barn: The Kitchen and Dining Area

Stepping inside, you’ll discover a cosy galley-style kitchen equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. There’s a fridge with a freezer compartment, a toaster, microwave, kettle, and all necessary utensils. A rustic dining table provides a charming spot for meals.

The Living Room

Moving into the living room, you now have a comfy leather sofa, replacing the previous one that you can see here, set against the backdrop of vaulted ceilings. The space is bright and airy, with a staircase leading up to the mezzanine where a double sleigh bed awaits.

Exploring the Shower Room

Adjacent to the living area is the shower room, featuring a toilet, sink, and a spacious shower cubicle. It’s designed to provide all essentials during your stay, complete with a window offering views of the barns.

Mezzanine Bedroom

Heading upstairs to the mezzanine bedroom, you’ll find a charming wooden double sleigh bed with ample storage space in drawers and a built-in wardrobe under the stairs. Vaulted ceilings enhance the sense of space, creating a cosy retreat within Gipping Barn.

Outdoor Space and Garden

Back outside, the fully enclosed garden offers privacy and tranquility. Enjoy outdoor dining with a table and chairs provided on the patio, alongside the inviting hot tub.
