A Tour of Esselunga: The Nearest Supermarket to Casa Trebbio
Hello, it’s Carl, and today I’m sharing a quick tour of Esselunga, the nearest supermarket to Casa Trebbio in Tuscany. You’ll pass it on your way from the airport, and it’s about 15 minutes from Casa Trebbio, making it a convenient stop for your shopping needs.
Esselunga isn’t just any supermarket – it’s an incredible place filled with fresh, local produce and everything you could need during your stay. Let me show you around!
Exploring Esselunga: Fresh Produce and More
As we arrive outside, we’ll head straight in. On the right-hand side, you’ll find the toilets and lifts down to another car park. And on the left, there’s a bar where you can grab not only alcoholic drinks but also some of the best coffee around.
First up is the fabulous fruit and vegetable section. The selection is vast, including everything from olives and herbs to an impressive variety of apples and other salad essentials. Moving along, there’s also a fish counter, perfect for seafood lovers.
Stocking Up: Cheese, Meats, and Essentials
For those looking for camping gear, you’ll find it nearby. Over on the left is where I like to stock up on nuts, followed by an area full of cheese and meats. Now, while I don’t eat meat, I do enjoy my cheese, and Esselunga has a whole section dedicated to mozzarella and burrata. You’ll also find aisles packed with pasta, eggs, and yogurts, as well as plenty of options for coffee lovers.
More Fish, Bread, and Wines
If you love seafood, Esselunga certainly delivers with an abundance of fish on offer. As you move along, the deli counter continues with even more cheese. The bakery section, with its fresh bread, is a feast for the senses – the smell alone is incredible!
Oh, and I can’t forget the wine! Esselunga has a superb selection of both white and red wines, including champagne and a variety of local wines. There’s even a special room dedicated just to water.
Convenient Shopping Near Casa Trebbio
I do most of my shopping at Esselunga when I’m staying at Casa Trebbio. It’s so convenient, and given that you’ll often pass by on your way to or from your day out, it makes stocking up effortless.
The Esselunga I usually visit is located in Marlia, which is perfect for anyone staying in or near Lucca.
