Just a short walk from our Barns, Crowfield Church is one of the rare timber-framed churches in Suffolk. It’s a beautiful little building, with a timber-framed chancel and a moat and manor house next door. It’s a lovely spot for a gentle stroll and a bit of local history.

If you’re keen to explore more historical gems nearby, consider venturing over to Stonham Aspal, a village tucked into the heart of Mid Suffolk. It’s full of character and only a short drive from Crowfield.

This walk is about three miles away and was created by the local community. It starts opposite the Dukes Head pub in Coddenham and follows Love Lane, with views of Shrublands Hall and the 17th-century Hemingstone Hall.
