Four Horseshoes – Thornham

A great, traditional Suffolk pub/restaurant!

Having been here countless times now, including our first staff Christmas meal, I can thoroughly recommend The Four Horseshoes as a consistently great place to eat. There’s a warm atmosphere and it’s always busy (a good sign). Loads of our guests agree too!

The menu offers a range of light lunches, through to hearty evening meals and a great Sunday carvery.

It’s hard to please all of the people all of the time but customer service seems to be high on the agenda here and the staff are always polite and friendly. One time I was there I accidentally knocked over my glass of red wine and a fresh one was delivered to the table very quickly, which did not appear on the bill. They didn’t have to do that. The little things make a big difference.

Anyway, if you’re looking for good quality, freshly prepared food in very pleasant surroundings then take a trip along the A140.

They don’t have the best website but they are great at food and drink and they do have a telephone!
