Our little Tuscan Villa featured in The Times!

Casa Trebbio in The Times – One of Tuscany’s Top 21 Villas!

By

Guess who has a little place in Tuscany, that features in The Times in an article on 21 Amazing Villas in Tuscany? Yes, we do!

Absolutely delighted to share some brilliant news. Casa Trebbio, our little slice of Italy just outside Lucca, has been featured in The Times in their roundup of “21 Amazing Villas in Tuscany”. Not bad company to be in!

We’ve had the pleasure of seeing our Barns and Barges in Suffolk pop up in The Times before, which is always a proud moment. But now our Tuscan getaway has had its turn in the spotlight, and it’s fair to say I’m a bit chuffed.

It’s always a bit surreal to see your place in a national newspaper. I had to stick my glasses on and double check, but there it was. This is what they said about Casa Trebbio:

“Casa Trebbio sleeps two. You can see six hilltop churches from the terrace of Casa Trebbio. You can see Lucca in the distance too, beckoning you downhill with its Renaissance palazzo and Romanesque basilica. It will certainly be hard to tear yourself away from this cute and colourful one-bedroom cottage in the leafy Brancoleria Valley. Here, every window shares the mesmerising view and begs you to stay put – whether you’re sprawled out on the leather sofa, rustling up the next alfresco lunch, or soaking in the freestanding bath.”

It really is such a special place. Set in the peaceful Brancoleria Valley, with nothing but nature and those jaw-dropping views in every direction, it’s always felt like a bit of a hidden gem. Whether you’re wandering through Lucca’s cobbled streets or just sitting on the terrace with a glass of something cold, it’s one of those places that makes you slow down and breathe.

We set out to create a calm, comfortable little retreat for two, and it’s lovely to see that recognised. The view alone is worth the trip, but Casa Trebbio is all about soaking it all in – whether you’re cooking up lunch with the doors open or sinking into that bath with the windows wide.

Fancy finding out what all the fuss is about? You can book direct via our Casa Trebbio page or just give me a buzz and I’ll sort it for you. But fair warning – you might want to get in there before everyone else does.
