One of the favourite features amongst our guests is our lovely fish pond. Many of our fish and pond plants, as well as maintenance products and loads of advice comes from just next door to Woodfarm HQ at Abbey Aquatics & Reptiles.
They are at Woodfarm Business Centre, right next door to us at the Barns. Established in 1991 as a Tropical fish shop, they have become leaders in their field in the county.
They stock a wide range of reptile and aquatic products, as well as a room with a great selection of reptiles and a wide variety of aquatic livestock, covering Tropical, coldwater, marine and brackish water fish, many of which are unusual or hard to find species.
The bit that’s really useful to us is their pond department, which was rebuilt in 2012 and stocks a wide range of both fish and plants for ornamental garden ponds and wildlife gardens.
They are open seven full days a week with a convenient late-night opening on Wednesday until 8:00pm, shut only two days a year (Easter Sunday & Christmas Day).
