Alde Barn guided tour

Alde Barn guided tour of the virtual tour

This is a video that I shot, giving you a guided tour of the virtual tour of Alde Barn. It’s part of our series of ‘You Ask, We Answer’ videos and blogs that cover loads of our FAQ’s, or Frequently Asked Questions, but with a (we hope) a really helpful deeper dive.

At Woodfarm Barns & Barges, we understand that planning the perfect getaway involves many questions and uncertainties. To help you navigate through these and to ensure you have the best experience possible, we’ve launched our ‘You Ask, We Answer’ initiative. This approach isn’t just about promoting our Barns, Cottages and Barges; it’s about providing valuable information, solutions, and peace of mind to our prospective guests.

Anyway, this is the video, and the transcript is below it if you wish to go back over anything.

This is what I said…

Explore Alde Barn: A Virtual Tour

Hello, it’s Carl, and in this video, I’ll guide you through a virtual tour of Alde Barn, part of our Quirky accommodation collection. Let me show you how easy it is to navigate through our virtual tours.

Accessing the Virtual Tour

From our homepage, simply scroll down until you find the section dedicated to our virtual tours. There’s a prominent button labeled “Take the Virtual Tour”. Click on that to enter our virtual tours homepage.

Navigating Through Alde Barn

Once you’re there, you’ll see a menu listing all our properties, including our charming barges and Woodfarm Tuscany. There’s even a glimpse of our expansive 2 Acre Meadow. To enhance your experience, click on the button that allows you to enter full-screen mode. This feature enables you to use your mouse or finger (if you’re on a tablet or mobile) to explore the panoramic views freely.

Exploring Alde Barn’s Exterior

Now, let’s focus on Alde Barn. I must point out that the greenery and trees now appear more lush and mature in reality than in the photos, which were taken a few years ago. Click on Alde Barn to start your tour.

As we descend to ground level, you’ll see the Barn nestled amidst our well-maintained gardens, surrounded by taller hedging for added privacy.

Discovering the Hot Tub and Garden

Entering Alde Barn, you’ll find a submenu starting with the hot tub and garden area. It features a spacious hot tub, ideal for two people despite being a four-person tub. Enclosed in a charming garden room, it offers a covered space with delightful outdoor views; perfect for relaxation and enjoying the outdoors without worrying about the weather.

Kitchen and Dining Area

Next, let’s step into the Barn itself. The kitchen and dining area are designed in a cosy galley style, equipped with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. There’s a fridge with a freezer compartment, toaster, cooker, microwave, kettle, and all the necessary kitchenware neatly stored in cupboards. A rustic dining table awaits, providing a picturesque spot for meals.

Living Room Comfort

Moving into the living room, you’ll notice its spacious layout with vaulted ceilings extending up to the mezzanine where a double bed awaits. The sofa is now replaced with a big leather sofa, which adds to the comfort, complemented by a television and a stable door leading to the outside; perfect for letting in fresh air on sunny days.

Relaxing in the Shower Room

Now, let’s explore the shower room. Here you’ll find a shower, toilet, sink, and a quirky detail; a large cow painting. The room is well-appointed with everything you need during your stay, including a mirror and ample natural light.

Sleeping in the Mezzanine Bedroom

Heading upstairs to the mezzanine bedroom, you’ll find a charming solid wood double bed with plenty of storage space in drawers and a cupboard under the stairs. The room is adorned with a handmade chandelier from Jim Lawrence of Suffolk, adding a touch of elegance and warmth to the space.

Conclusion

That concludes our tour of Alde Barn. I hope you enjoyed exploring this delightful cottage with us. Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more tours and updates.
