Meadow View Cottage guide tour

Meadow View Cottage guided tour of the virtual tour

This is a video that I shot, giving you a guided tour of the virtual tour of Meadow View Cottage. It’s part of our series of ‘You Ask, We Answer’ videos and blogs that cover loads of our FAQ’s, or Frequently Asked Questions, but with a (we hope) a really helpful deeper dive.

At Woodfarm Barns & Barges, we understand that planning the perfect getaway involves many questions and uncertainties. To help you navigate through these and to ensure you have the best experience possible, we’ve launched our ‘You Ask, We Answer’ initiative. This approach isn’t just about promoting our Barns, Cottages and Barges; it’s about providing valuable information, solutions, and peace of mind to our prospective guests.

Anyway, this is the video, and the transcript is below it if you wish to go back over anything.

This is what I said…

Hello, it’s Carl, and I’m here to guide you through a virtual tour of Meadow View Cottage. This blog post will walk you through the steps to access and navigate our virtual tours and give you a detailed look inside Meadow View Cottage.

Accessing the Virtual Tour

To begin, scroll down our homepage until you find the button marked “Take the Virtual Tour.” Click on that button, and it will take you to our virtual tour page. Here, you’ll see all the virtual tours available for our properties.

Entering Full Screen Mode

For the best viewing experience, I recommend clicking the full-screen button. This will make everything easier to see.

Exploring Meadow View Cottage

Once you’re in full screen, you can use your cursor to drag the view around. If you’re on a tablet or phone, simply use your finger. You’ll see our Meadow Barns, the private meadow, The Granary Barn, and Meadow View Cottage.

To navigate directly to Meadow View Cottage, click on the appropriate icon. This will take you to the cottage’s garden. The garden is now more mature than in the video, with a lovely swing seat and a flower bed.

Inside Meadow View Cottage

Lounge Area

Entering the Cottage, you’ll find a hallway with storage space for coats. The lounge features beautiful original beams and an open fireplace, perfect for cosy evenings. There’s a large, comfortable sofa and a smart TV for your entertainment.

Dining and Kitchen Area

The lounge leads to an open-plan dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a Belfast sink, plenty of workspace, a cooker, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, and a toaster. There’s also an espresso machine for coffee lovers.

Shower Room

Off the kitchen, you’ll find a modern shower room with a large walk-in shower, a toilet, and a sink.

Bedroom

Upstairs, the bedroom features a king-size bed, ample storage with baskets, cupboards, and drawers, and charming original features. The staircase to the bedroom is narrow and winding, adding to the cottage’s character.

Outdoor Hot Tub

One of the highlights of Meadow View Cottage is the outdoor hot tub. Tucked away in a covered garden room, it’s the perfect spot to relax, no matter the weather. The garden is fully enclosed, making it safe for dogs, and features a patio table, chairs, and hooks for towels and robes.
