Yes, the elders of Woodfarm have decided that it’s time for another competition! And this time we are giving away a magnificent Christmas Hamper from our friends at Earsham Street Deli in Bungay so you can enjoy some fab festive treats, whether you have a Christmas Holiday Cottage with us or not.

“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas”. Ok, ok, I know it’s a month or so away as we launch this, but we were looking for a way to give away some wonderful Deli delights and this is it. One lucky winner will WIN all these mouth-watering treats in time for Christmas, with our snappily titled ‘2020 Christmas Holiday Cottage yummy Deli Hamper competition thingamajig’.

That fab pic at the top is what you will win, containing a wonderful Italian Panattone, Mulled Pear Chutney, Cinnamon Star Biscuits, Cranberry Port & Orange Sauce, Christmas Spice Chutney, Mulled Wine Syrup, Fig and Honey Crackers, Handmade English Chocolates, Cranberry & Blackcurrant Conserve, and Christmas Marmalade! Wow, if that lot doesn’t scream “Christmas” at you, nothing will!

We all know that Christmas is that time of year when we embrace it head on, hoping not to come out the other side with too many extra pounds. Let’s face it though, that rarely happens, so we figured we’d just wade in with you and help you along, but responsibly. Yes, you can be sensible and ration yourselves, and savour your win as Michelle has picked some wonderful long-lasting goodies for you.

Our last competition went so well, with over 3,000 of you hoping to WIN our amazing Teddy Bears Picnic Hamper, to celebrate hitting 400 Five Star Tripadvisor reviews! And now Suffolk’s finest food emporium has come up trumps once more, with an array of tasty foodie goodies for you to enjoy over the festive season. At least if you’re not away in a Woodfarm Christmas Holiday Cottage, then at least it can feel a little like it. But only if you are our WINNER!

As I write this, on Halloween we still have Christmas Holiday Cottage availability at the Barns and on our Barge Twee Gebroeders, but enquiries and bookings are coming in steadily now as they do at this time every year. We have very little New Year availability left. We’ve always been full over the festive period, so if you’re even just thinking about it, do check what we have. Our availability calendar is right here. You can arrive on the 23rd for four or seven nights for Christmas itself, or the 30th for four or five nights for New Year. We also have two and three-night options for the bit in the middle. (I always think that should have a name other than “the bit in between Christmas and New Year”). Of course, we are doing this in the middle of a global pandemic, and we are all wondering what is going to happen next. To put your minds at rest, if we are not permitted to travel again, then we will simply credit what you’ve paid towards a future break. You will not lose your money.

This is crazily easy but do read carefully as so many get it wrong every time we do a competition.

Please enter your answer below, and then share the Facebook Competition Post, and like our page. Those three things. That’s it. And don’t get the question wrong, please. It’s too easy.

Ok, this is how it works; we ask a really simple question, that to be honest, even Donald Trump could answer. Possibly. On a good day. You just answer it on the form below and you go onto our spreadsheet so you have an entry number. When the competition closes, we use a random number generator to pick a line on the spreadsheet, and if that’s you, then et voilà, a Christmas Holiday Cottage Hamper will soon be winging its way to you. But, and this is a big but…… ONLY if you give us consent to email you and let you know that you’ve won. If you don’t consent to being contacted by us we will be unable to enter you into this competition as we cannot contact you without your permission. Your name and email address are stored securely. We will NEVER share your name and email address with any third parties. You are welcome to unsubscribe at any time by either clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link on the emails or by contacting us directly. We do, as I explain very thoroughly below, contact you occasionally for marketing purposes, but it’s all really nice stuff. We are not out to get you, or brainwash you.

So do enter the competition, but please give us permission to contact you otherwise you can’t ever win it. It’s quite logical, and we go to great pains every time we run one, yet so many people tick “No, don’t contact me”. I cannot think of a clearer way to explain it so good luck.

The prize for this Competition is a fabulous Christmas Holiday Cottage Hamper from Earsham Street Deli. Contents may vary from the photo, but it’s kinda that. We are going to run it for a month or so and pick our winner on Friday 11th December, then ship it off to you! (if it’s you!)

Please note that we cannot technically announce the winner first on Social Media, it has to be by email. If we do not hear back from you within 48 hours of notifying you that you have won, we will pick another correct entrant and so on until someone responds. By entering you do consent to us announcing your name on Social Media though. We won’t divulge any personal info of course, just your name. 

We’d obviously really appreciate it if you could then shout it from the rooftops!
