Yep, we decided to celebrate our fantastic new Garden Room in Stour Barn by giving one lucky couple a FREE Four Night Break to come and try it out!
All our holiday cottages in Suffolk have something special to offer and now Stour Barn really has something a little bit extra to shout about! And you can win a Four Night Break in our FREE to enter competition!
Stour Barn is a coach-house style Suffolk Barn, all on one level, with high vaulted ceilings and exposed oak timbers. It features an open plan lounge, kitchen, diner, complete with cosy wood-burning stove for the chillier days, all leading through to a luxurious double bedroom with en-suite shower room.
The private garden is fully enclosed, so perfect for dogs and we allow up to three in all our cottages.
And now, the garden has so much more to offer you! We’ve now given your outdoor space a new lease of life with a fabulous ‘Garden Room’, with a gorgeous old pine dining table for Al Fresco feasts, as well as a couple of benches with squishy outdoor cushions for you to lounge around on and read a book, all topped off with soft, atmospheric lighting for those romantic evenings.
This really has opened up the appeal of Stour Barn’s outdoor space and we are delighted with the end result!
The Competition…
All of the Barns in the meadow are named after Suffolk rivers and The River Stour is one of my favourites. I’ve spent many hours walking the Stour, as well as kayaking along it. It may run from Cambridgeshire to Essex but the majority of the River Stour runs through some wonderful Suffolk countryside so I’m sticking the Suffolk flag in it and claiming it!
It winds through ‘Constable Country’, taking in one of our Designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Dedham Vale. John Constable painted many of his famous works along the River Stour and having lived in Dedham myself, I have a real affinity with this river in particular so it was an easy choice to name one of my holiday cottages in Suffolk after it.
So how can you win a FREE Break here to try it out for yourself?

Free Four Night Break in our Holiday Cottages in Suffolk
The prize is for a Four-night midweek break, Monday to Friday, in Stour Barn.
The prize winner can select from midweek dates from 31st October 2016 to 31st March 2017, excluding bank and school holidays, Valentines, Xmas and New Year. Dates chosen are subject to availability of course. The prize is for two people to stay, one of whom must be at least 18 years of age, and up to three dogs.
The prize cannot be transferred to an existing booking or used in conjunction with any other offer. The prize is non-transferable, cannot be sold, and no cash alternative is offered. Only one entry per person.
By entering this competition, all participants will be deemed to have read and understood the above Terms and our Standard Terms and Conditions (all references to payment can be ignored).
