Woodfarm Tuscany guided tour

Woodfarm Tuscany guided tour of the virtual tour

This is a video that I shot, giving you a guided tour of the virtual tour of Casa Trebbio, aka Woodfarm Tuscany. It’s part of our series of ‘You Ask, We Answer’ videos and blogs that cover loads of our FAQ’s, or Frequently Asked Questions, but with a (we hope) a really helpful deeper dive.

At Woodfarm Barns & Barges, we understand that planning the perfect getaway involves many questions and uncertainties. To help you navigate through these and to ensure you have the best experience possible, we’ve launched our ‘You Ask, We Answer’ initiative. This approach isn’t just about promoting our Barns, Cottages and Barges; it’s about providing valuable information, solutions, and peace of mind to our prospective guests.

Anyway, this is the video, and the transcript is below it if you wish to go back over anything.

This is what I said…

Welcome to a more personal, less polished tour of Woodfarm Tuscany, right from my dining table. This video aims to give you a closer look at our property through my eyes, beyond the professionally produced materials you may have already seen.

Location and Surroundings

Woodfarm Tuscany is nestled in a picturesque hamlet atop the Garfagnana Valley, offering breathtaking views of Lucca and its surroundings. Our house, a charming white structure, sits up a hillside, providing a serene escape about 3,000 feet above sea level.

The Terrace

As we begin our tour, the terrace greets us with its magnificent views. Here, you’ll find a solid table crafted from old pub bases and scaffolding boards, along with a pizza oven and barbecue for enjoying al fresco dining. It’s an ideal spot to soak in the beauty of Tuscany.

Kitchen and Dining Area

Moving inside, the kitchen offers a panoramic view over the terrace and hills beyond. It features funky tiles, cooker, and all the essentials for preparing meals. The French dresser adds a touch of antique charm, reflecting my love for unique pieces acquired from auctions in Suffolk.

Bedroom and Lounge

Through the corridor, you’ll find the cosy bedroom adorned with an antique bed and quirky furnishings. The lounge, connected openly with views of Lucca, features a spacious leather sofa and eclectic decor. Personal touches like the Lucca rooftops painting and framed butterflies add character and warmth to the space.

Bathroom

The bathroom invites relaxation with its bathtub overlooking Lucca, a shower area with dual shower heads, and a sleek gray floor. It’s designed as an open wet room, combining functionality with aesthetic appeal.

Final Words
