What is there to do in the area?
This blog post introduces you to a video that I shot to answer the common question of “What is there to do in the area??”. It’s part of our series of ‘You Ask, We Answer’ videos and blogs. They cover loads of our FAQ’s, or Frequently Asked Questions, but with a (we hope) really helpful deeper dive.
At Woodfarm Barns & Barges, we understand that planning the perfect getaway involves many questions and uncertainties. To help you navigate through these and to ensure you have the best experience possible, we’ve launched our ‘You Ask, We Answer’ initiative. This approach isn’t just about promoting our Barns, Cottages and Barges; it’s about providing valuable information, solutions, and peace of mind to our prospective guests.
Anyway, this is the video, and the transcript is below it if you wish to go back over anything.
This is what I said…
Tourist Information and Guides for Your Stay at Woodfarm
Hello, it’s Carl, and this video is all about tourist information and guides on what to do and places to go when you come to stay with us at Woodfarm.
Welcome Folder
First of all, all of our properties come with a welcome folder. I’m currently in Woodfarm House, and each folder includes a housekeeping guide, information for dog owners, guides on out-and-about activities, eating and drinking recommendations, retail therapy, dog-friendly beaches, dog walks, and more. There’s even a section on culture, believe it or not.
Woodfarm Life Magazine
In addition to the welcome folder, we provide our magazine, Woodfarm Life, in all of our properties. This magazine includes all our properties and guides for local walks, dog-friendly beaches, and more.
Paws and Relax Magazine
We also offer a magazine called Paws and Relax, which is a guide for dog owners holidaying in Suffolk. Each magazine features QR codes that link to various parts of our website for additional information.
Online Guides
I’ll now show you the Out and About section of our website.
Exploring the Out and About Section
On our homepage, navigate to the About section and click on “Out and About in Suffolk.” Here, you’ll find four sections:
- Eating and Drinking: Includes pubs, coffee shops, takeaways, cafes, fish and chips, and more.
- Shopping: Features delis, farm shops, gifts and homeware, etc.
- Places to Visit: Includes castles, dog-friendly beaches, breweries, green spaces, and more.
- Activities: Lists walks near the Barns, walks near the Barges, cycle routes, golf courses, and more.
There is a ton of information available, more than you’ll need for a week’s holiday, let alone a stay of 2, 3, or 4 days.
