Spring has definitely Sprung in Suffolk!
The Daffs are well and truly out in force, Hoi & Sin the Woodfarm ducks are back, the sun is shining every day and the lawns are drying out! Yes, it’s that time of the year that we look forward to shaking off the Winter blues!
And another true sign is the promotion of the 7th Suffolk Walking Festival.
From 10th May to 1st June 2014, there are almost 80 walks across our beautiful county, ranging from just 1 mile to walks over 10 miles, for all ages and abilities. Some of them are right on our doorstep!
The Suffolk Walking Festival is bigger and better than ever before, with short strolls around some of our ancient villages and market towns, to longer rambles covering the stunning landscape of Suffolk, through Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and along our heritage coast.
The Discover Suffolk Challenge Walk follows The Angles Way, which meanders for 90 miles along the Suffolk/Norfolk border, through the picturesque Waveney Valley and the sandy landscape of The Brecks. You can choose to do one, two or all six days.
You can find full info on The Suffolk Walking Festival on their website.
Sticking with the theme of getting your walking boots on, April 2014 also sees Woodfarm Barns feature in Britain’s best-selling Walking Magazine as a place to stay whilst planning a walking break!
We have some availability still for the Walking Festival period – go straight to our availability page and check the dates that suit you. You can book online or call for a chat on 01449 710032 or 07810 371218.
