January is one of our busiest months for future bookings, but it’s typically quieter on-site with fewer guests staying at the properties after the Christmas and New Year celebrations. In 2024 we gave £200 to Battersea, the dogs & cats home, and prior to that we gave £200 in 2022 to Alzheimers, which is a cause dear to me, as it took my father in 2024. Our first ever time of doing this raised £200 for Brambles, which is an independent animal sanctuary in Downham Market, Norfolk.

Your manky old water butt
Firstly, this is a ‘Raffle’ for a £200 2 night break. Every penny will go to a charity of the winners’ choice. We do this to raise money for good causes, as well as build our mailing list a little. If you don’t want to subscribe to our mailing list, then this isn’t for you. It just isn’t. If you think this is unfair, then give away your stuff and you can make the rules! I’m not going to moan if I can’t win your manky old water butt for a weekend because your terms & conditions don’t suit me.
What you get…
We’re offering a two-night break in one of our luxurious Hot Tub Barns next weekend (10th/ 11th Jan) or the midweek after—for just £200. Every single penny goes to the charity of your choosing.
It’ll be for up to two adults and up to three dogs.
This Raffle’ will run until Midday on Wednesday 8th January 2025, when we will draw one entry using the Google Random Number Generator.
We’ll email every entrant at that time, win or lose to let you know who won. There is no cash alternative.
Please note that we cannot announce the winner first on Social Media, it has to be by email or phone. If we do not hear back from you within 24 hours of notifying you that you have won, we will pick another correct entrant until someone responds. By entering you do consent to us announcing your name on Social Media once you have accepted your prize. We won’t divulge any personal info of course, it’ll just be your name. We’d obviously really appreciate it if you could then shout it from the rooftops though!
Victor Meldrew clause: If all that doesn’t suit you or you are of the opinion that “no-one ever wins these” then feel free to not enter and gaze at your navel instead. There may be some fluff there, who knows? We have given away so many prizes over the years to some very happy people, but you’ll never be one of them if you bumble through life with Meldrew shaped chips on your shoulders. At least you’ll have some fluff though, and fluff is good. You could open a fluff museum, or a fairground and build a Fluffer-Coaster.
