Petta Fiesta – a fabulous Suffolk festival 4th-6th July 2014
The weekend of 4th-6th July 2014 sees another great local festival, featuring music, dancing, spoken word, comedy, theatre and lots more in a really beautiful setting just ten minutes from Woodfarm Barns.
It’s all happening in Laffitts Hall in Pettaugh, hence the name! Full details of the main attractions will be updated on their website as and when they are confirmed but I am pleased to say that I will be playing in my capacity as bass player for Fern Teather Band, featuring the amazing 17-year-old Suffolk singer/ songwriter. This is me, Fern and Sam taken in 2013 when we supported Paper Aeroplanes at the Apex in Bury St Edmunds…
You can check us out here.
There’s a young songwriters competition going on too and I’m pleased to say that Fern has entered!
Even though it’s happening at the height of our summer, this is Britain and they are fully prepared for the weather that can be thrown at us! There are sheds so you won’t get wet, muddy or cold, and their loos are of the luxury variety because they hate manky loos too!
They have plenty of camping but of course for those that want a little more comfort, then we are just round the corner! Our barns sleeping two adults plus toddlers start at £251 for two nights (Friday and Saturday) or Woodfarm House, sleeping seven adults plus toddlers is £460 for the two nights. Hurry though as the barns are booking up!
They will get the ball rolling on the Friday night with an outdoor film and campfire chow-down and round off the weekend with a hoe-down on Sunday lunchtime!
They are limited in numbers so if you want to be guaranteed a ticket you can get them online on the tickets page or by contacting them via the website.
