Our Loyalty Reward Points programme TOGS: year 1 update.

In this video, we’re discussing a topic we’re particularly proud of: our loyalty reward programme for our regular and loyal guests. If you’ve ever wondered how we give back to those who return time and time again, this video is for you.
We’ll cover everything you need to know about TOGS, our loyalty system. It’s our way of saying thank you to those who stay with us at Woodfarm Barns, on our Barges, or even over in Tuscany. Loyalty Reward Points Programme: Transcript
Do we have a loyalty reward programme for our regular loyal guests? Yes is the answer to that one! We have a system called TOGS—that’s T-O-G-S, I’ll spell it for you here somewhere. Anyway, TOGS, and we’ll put a link to it as well to the part of our website that explains it.
But basically, in a nutshell, anyone that comes to stay at Woodfarm Barns, Barges, or over in Tuscany will get offered 10% of their stay back as a discount off their next one.
We started this at the beginning of 2024, and we’re still running it now. I’m recording this in January 2025, and in that first year, we gave back just under £7,000 to our guests as a discount off their stays.
The reason we put TOGS into place is that we wanted to reward our loyal guests. There are so many businesses—and there’s a famous advert that highlights this—that only look after and incentivise new customers. We do that as well, but we wanted to make sure we were giving back to our regular guests.
It hurts a little bit for me to say we’ve given £7,000 back! However, that’s just the price of making sure our regular guests feel very welcome. We get a lot of people coming back time and time again, so TOGS is simply our way of saying thank you very much.
The only thing I would say is if you’re coming last minute and there’s already a discount, we don’t discount it off there. Or if it’s discounted for any other reason, TOGS doesn’t apply. But essentially, 10% of each stay will be discounted off the next one.
I hope that answers your question, and I hope we can give you lots and lots of money back! Because if I give away £50,000 this year, it’ll mean we’ve had lots more guests. That’s the way it works!
