Since the start, our focus has never been on simply letting holiday accommodation. Our goal has always been to concentrate on ‘why’ you are away from home, and what we want you to experience. That’s why we have spent a gazillion hours writing about as much as we possibly can for you to tap into. We’ve done all the research and homework for you!
On top of that we team up with other local independent businesses that can offer a little extra to make those memories even better. As cheesy as that may sound, it seems to be what makes our guests return time and again, as well as recommend us to their friends and families, and that makes us happy!
Part of those memories are the optional extras, those little extra touches that make your stay. These are supplied either directly by you contacting the supplier, or us. This is just a service we offer to you to add to your experience and we don’t make any money for them or from our suppliers.
It’s all about treating yourselves on your Suffolk Cottage Holiday! And we’ve even got an option to spoil your dogs too! Here are some options you can choose from.

Balloons & Banners: £10
We can add some tasteful balloons and banners for you, ready and waiting to surprise your loved one.

Dog Hampers: £15
We supply treats for your canine family, and at the Barns these are all supplied by our local experts at Doodledales. If you want to make it an extra happy hounds holiday, then we can have a Dog Hamper waiting in your Barn or Cottage for them. It’ll have a whole bunch of scrummy natural treats and delights, plus a toy or two.
And do make sure you take your Dog to Doodledales during your stay. They will get a warm welcome and you can treat them to even more goodies! Do tell the team you’re a Woodfarm guest!

Deli Hamper: from £30 (to be collected by you)
For obvious reasons, we can’t hold these in stock for you, so any hampers would need to be collected in person by you, but by crikey they’re worth it.
We have been working with the awesome team at Earsham Street Deli for over a decade. They really know their onions. And cheese, and crackers, and chutneys, and meats. You get the idea! This award winning foodie emporium has everything you could want to treat yourselves to a truly delicious picnic, and much more!
Just email the team at foodgloriousfood@earshamstreetdeli.co.uk at least a week ahead of your stay, and they will put together a truly scrumptious hamper especially for you. You can pick this up at either of their shops, at Snape Maltings, or in Bungay.
If you are staying aboard Onderneming, then it’s a piece of cake as you can see the Snape deli from the Barge! Many of our guests visit Snape Maltings and the coast from our Barns anyway, and it’s just 20 minutes from Twee Gebroeders in Woodbridge.
A decadent bottle of Champagne or Prosecco: £25 and £10
Picture yourselves with your feet up, possibly in one of our Hot tubs, enjoying a well-deserved glass of something bubbly…
We’ll source you a nice bottle to order and have it waiting in your fridge for your arrival. The perfect way to start a romantic break.

Handmade Suffolk Salted Caramel Selection: £12
Starting life as a family coffee roasting business at the turn of the millenium, Harris & James of Suffolk broke into the chocolate world in 2015. Still very much a family concern, their “aim from the beginning and continues to be, about bringing quality chocolate back to the consumer and to make it special – how chocolate should be – not be a product driven by accountant-led confectionery giants”.
You can order them from us in advance, and you can buy them from their stores in Aldeburgh and Southwold. You can even try their amazing coffee and ice cream there too!
