Hello, it’s Carl, and I’m excited to take you on a guided virtual tour of “Onderneming,” our spacious barge moored at Snape Maltings. This unique accommodation can comfortably host up to eight guests and three canine companions. Let’s dive in and explore!

Accessing the Virtual Tour

To begin your virtual tour, simply visit our homepage and scroll down to find the “Take the Virtual Tour” button. Click on it, and you’ll be directed to our virtual tour homepage. Scroll further to locate the section featuring all our accommodations, including Barges, Cottages, and Woodfarm Tuscany.

Navigating the Tour

Once on the virtual tour homepage, maximize your viewing experience by clicking on the “Full Screen” option. This will enlarge the display, allowing you to appreciate the details more vividly. Navigate through the menu to select “Onderneming,” or use the icons to explore our various properties.

Exploring the Exterior

Start your journey by viewing the barge from the quayside. Use your mouse to drag and explore the surroundings. From here, you can see Snape Bridge and the quaint shops and cafes nearby. Our secure parking area ensures convenient access to the barge.

Taking a Peek Inside

Step aboard “Onderneming” and marvel at the panoramic views from the deck overlooking the river and marshes. Inside, the upper saloon welcomes you with its open layout and fully equipped galley kitchen. Enjoy the blend of modern amenities with the charm of nautical history.

Discovering the Lower Saloon

Descend into the lower saloon, where another cosy living space awaits. This area features a leather sofa, a dining space with a view, and a well-appointed kitchen. Original port holes and skylights add character to the spacious interior.

Bedrooms and Facilities

Explore the comfortable bedrooms on board, each uniquely designed to maximize space and comfort. From double beds to thoughtful storage solutions, every detail is crafted to ensure a restful stay. The barge also includes a bathroom with a bath and shower, as well as another shower room, ensuring convenience and luxury.

The Den – A Unique Feature

Don’t miss “The Den,” a special area designed for younger guests to relax and play. Located near the upper saloon, it offers a cosy retreat with seating, a table, and even a single bed.
