Little Wings of Hope CIC
When I was approached by Little Wings of Hope CIC, a baby loss charity helping bereaved parents, how could I say no?
Based in Essex, Little Wings of Hope CIC is dedicated to providing practical and emotional support to parents grieving the loss of a baby.
Their mission is to help parents cope with the pain and trauma of losing a baby, no matter the circumstances or gestation period. They offer a range of initiatives to support them through this difficult time. We are pleased to announce a partnership with them, whereby parents will be offered the opportunity to have a few days away to reflect after their loss.
The connection with Woodfarm came about as one of our guests works with them, and got in touch with me to see if we could do anything to help.
The organisation came about in 2023 when Leila and her husband Barry lost their son Oscar James Silva Hobart, who was born on 13th July 2023 at just 23 weeks and 1 day old. At such an early gestation Oscar fought hard to stay with them and he blessed them with 10 hours of memories they will treasure forever.
In his memory, Leila and Barry decided to support other parents who experience devastating baby loss.
