Orwell Barn sits in our secluded meadow next to The Granary, Woodfarm House, and Meadow View Cottage. Mature trees, a koi and goldfish pond, and a waterfall feature create a peaceful setting. There’s a shared decked area by the pond – perfect for sunsets.
We’re down a pretty country lane just outside the Suffolk village of Stonham Aspal; there are lovely walks and cycle routes straight from the Barns, and the Suffolk Coast is around 30 minutes away.
Orwell Barn is named after the River Orwell, running from Ipswich marina out towards the coast; it’s also where Eric Arthur Blair took the pen name George Orwell.
