Fresh air fun near our Suffolk holiday cottages

By

For those who love the outdoors when they are on holiday or having a short break, there’s plenty to do around our holiday cottages in Suffolk. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside, perfect for walking or cycling. But if you fancy getting in the car and visiting 400 acres of stunning Suffolk countryside, Alton Water will provide you with some fabulous scenery and day access to sailing, windsurfing and paddle crafts.

For most people heading to Alton Water it’s simply an unspoilt place for a long walk with the family, or a bike ride and a picnic. There’s a vast expanse of water, with some glorious spots to take a break. The scenery is fabulous and you’ll certainly sleep well after a visit.

They have a well-regarded RYA approved training centre, the largest and most active RYA training centre in the region.
