Every Barn & Barge booking made between now and the end of January for any 2023 break will go into our virtual hat and one lucky winner will get half of the cost of their break back, PLUS we will give the other half to our local food bank!
Yup, we are going to retrospectively give away the whole cost of one break, and it could be yours!
We’ve decided to get rid of the phrase ‘The cost of living crisis’ and replace it with something far more positive…

It’s been a tough year (tough couple of years, what with that pandemic!) in so many ways, but I’m happy to report that the Wonderful World of Woodfarm is still standing strong.
So this is our Christmas 2022 gift to you, AND a charitable organisation…
As we said, every Barn & Barge booking made in January for any 2023 break will go into our virtual hat and one lucky winner will get half of the cost of their break back, PLUS we will give the other half to our local food bank!
Simply book any break during January for any dates in 2023 and you are in with a shout! We will put all the names into a spreadsheet, as we do with our free break competitions, and use an online random number generator to pick a WINNER!
Once you have paid for your break in full (a month before arrival) we will refund half the money back to you, and then send the other half to FIND, which is ‘Families in Need’ Ipswich. For over 30 years, they have offered a lifeline to people in central Suffolk who are experiencing poverty and despair. And the bit I really like is that they support all those in need, regardless of faith or circumstance.
I don’t recall a time where this kind of service has ever been so prevalent or needed.
They provide free food parcels and personal care items to help people get through a crisis, so we figured this would be a great cause to donate half the money for a Woodfarm break to.
So if you book a break during January 2023 we will enter you into our virtual hat and be straight in touch if you are our WINNER! We look forward to seeing you in 2023.
EDIT on 1st FEBRUARY 2023…. We had a whopping 92 bookings during January 2023, and they all went in the order they were made, into a numbered spreadsheet. We used a Google random number generator to pick a winner, and that was booking number 26. We have announced that win to our database, giving their first name only. The booking was for a four night midweek break, with a value of £563.05. So we are now in the process of refunding £281.52 to our lucky winner, and 281.53 to our local food bank, FIND. I decided to let the food bank have the odd penny. This was fun, and we might do it again sometime!
