Electric vehicle charging is an important consideration for our guests, and at Woodfarm, we’ve made it as easy as possible for you to charge your EV while staying with us. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the available charging options at our Barns and Barges, so you can stay charged and ready to explore Suffolk!
Charging at Woodfarm HQ
At Woodfarm HQ, we don’t have rapid charging points, but we do provide overnight charging facilities for your EV, free of charge. If you’re looking for rapid access points, don’t worry—we’ve created handy maps to show you the nearest options for fast charging.
Nearest EV Charging Points to Woodfarm Barns
The closest rapid EV charging point to Woodfarm Barns is less than 10 minutes away at Beacon Hill Services. This location is conveniently situated at the junction of the A14 and the A140, which most guests pass on their way to us from the South. The postcode for Beacon Hill Services is IP6 8LP.
Charging Options Near Snape Maltings
If you’re staying at our Barge in Snape Maltings, you’ll be pleased to know that there are charging points right on-site. There are two locations with chargers: one near the pond by Undernaming and another close to one of the gallery buildings.
Additionally, on your way into Snape, you can stop at Friday Street Farm, where a large bank of chargers is available. This spot is a great place for a quick charge, and it’s located just 10 minutes from Onderneming. The postcode for Friday Street Farm is IP17 1JX.
EV Charging in Woodbridge
For those staying on our Barge in Woodbridge, there are several charging options. The nearest rapid charging points are located at the train station and another nearby car park. These are ideal places to park and charge while exploring the area. Additionally, there are multiple charging points available at Tesco on the way into Woodbridge.
