Dog Owners
Because of the enclosed garden and slate floor, we are happy to accept pets in all our barn holiday cottages. We normally accept up to three dogs. We even leave a dog treat as well as a delicious local breakfast basket for the humans!
We also have a huge fully secure two acre meadow for our four-legged guests to run around and play with each other, along with seating for the two-legged guests to chat as well! There’s a smaller section inside for nervous or older dogs to exercise on their own.
Outside you have a huge, fully enclosed private garden laid mainly to lawn, with a patio and BBQ with table and chairs for Al Fresco dining.
There is ample off road parking in front of the Granary.
All our luxuriously appointed barns vary in price according to size, position, equipment etc so represent great value, as well as having something to suit everyones taste and budget! The Granary is very definitely our premier barn because of its history and charm; if you’re looking for a truly luxurious holiday cottage in Suffolk then you’ve found it.
The other barns nestle into the mature trees adjacent to the Granary, around the pond and water feature to create a peaceful little environment to relax in and there is also lovely communal decked area overlooking the pond for when you feel sociable or just want to enjoy the sunset.

We were competition winners and what a great prize this was. The Granary is home from home with beautiful features and little touches, and cosy too. The dogs are shattered. Carl is a fab and friendly host.
Excellent stay as always. Thank you.
Lovely barn with lots of personal touches. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend
to friends.
A lovely relaxing break. Had some interesting walks, encountering deer and hares on the local foothpaths. The Meadow is very handy and the dogs loved sniffing around there!
Great meals at The Dog and The Crown at Framlingham. Fantastic weather, so many walks in the sunshine with our dog. Lovely visits to Wivenhoe, Dunwich and Southwold. Shame we were only here for two nights but we will be back!
The Granary Barn is lovely and Carl and his team have thought of every luxury you need. 5 star accommodation. Best two pubs recommended are the Stowupland Crown and Grundisburgh Dog.
Wood Farm Barns not only matched up to our expectations, but far exceeded them! Fantastic, quiet, rural and relaxing. We woke up listening to the birds singing, and the dogs loved playing in the meadow. Many thanks for a perfect holiday.
What a truly delightful place. We have fallen in love with the charm and warmth of the Granary and do not want to leave! Carl, you have created from nothing the haven that folk crave. A place they can feel at home in immediately and forget about the real world we all live in…..thank you!
Fantastic stay with good weather too in this cosy, peaceful Barn! Woof meadow was great for training our dog. Thank you to Carl and the Team.

A fantastic barn with everything you could need. We look forward to coming back.
Back for our 4th visit and very nice it was too! Visited many of our old haunts including Southwold, discovered a really rather good café in Abbeygate Street, Bury St Edmunds and Honey and Harvey in Woodbridge. Dined once again at the Crown at Stowupland and The White Horse at Badingham – very dog friendly, with the food good too!
Fantastic 5* Barn. Had a relaxing stay with everything that was needed. Will be back.
We were really pleased with the facilities, everything catered for to such a high standard. The Dog at Grundisburgh was the most friendliest pub.
