Deben Barn

The Barn was comfy and clean as per usual.  Sadly the rain and wind was awful but made use of the books in the Shed!

Fantastic stay.  Love the hamper, doggy bits and pieces and the meadow.  Loved the whole week, just as lovely as the last time.  Thank you Carl and the team.

We were amazed how dog friendly the barn is.  The décor is lovely, and we felt at home straight away.  Hot tub was great fun.  Denver loved meeting the other doggies over in the field and had some lovely chats with fellow Barners.

Exceeding our expectations every time.  The barn is the perfect size for us and the breakfast hamper and doggo goodies are such a  lovely touch.  We visited Jimmy’s Farm – lots of animals which you could feed and great for  a wheelchair user.  Thank you for everything.

Our first stay at the Barns, Deben is petit but perfect for us. The welcome hamper meant no stress to bring milk, tea etc and the contents were delicious. We loved the emphasis place on using local suppliers and businesses. We visited a couple of farm shops for meals and really enjoyed their produce. The dogs had a great time too. We look forward to returning for short breaks. Thank you Carl and the Team.

Had a super stay over new year. Lots of long muddy walks, warmth from the fire and enjoying the hot tub.

A wonderful tranquil retreat to return to each evening. We feel recharged and relaxed to head back to normality.

A peaceful place to stay and escape hectic lives. The hot tub was ideal for soothing aching backs! Our spaniels loved the meadow and the enclosed garden.

The Barn has a homely and cosy feel and has such cute décor.  We enjoyed the benefits of relaxing in the hot tub and in front of the roaring fire!  We had a lovely walk to the Church and a delicious meal at the Highwayman.

We have had a lovely relaxing break. Great weather to enjoy visits to Framlingham Castle and Flatford.

A fantastic weekend celebrating a birthday. The cottage is well equipped and loved all the tips in the book from previous guests. Hot tub was fantastic and we enjoyed star gazing!

We had a lovely stay at Wood Farm Barns.  A lovely surprise birthday and couldn’t have asked for more!  Gorgeous breakfast hamper, hot tub and beautiful surroundings.

Great stay. The dogs were pleased with their treats! Recommend the Green River Cafe at Debenham for breakfast or snacks and Ruby and the Angel for eco presents.

Had the perfect weekend celebrating Ian’s 40th birthday. All the staff have been very helpful and Carl has gone above and beyond to help plan this mini break and make it special.

I’m a mini yorkie and I’ve had the best time! My humans brought me here for a short break and I love it. Great dog treats, but I did enjoy sampling the bacon from the breakfast basket too! An extra thank you for ensuring the garden was very secure, I felt safe here. We went to doodle dogs shopping. I can’t wait to come here again with my human friends as I had a “pawtastic” time!

A surprise break and a lovely stay in this comfortable Barn. We relaxed in the hot tub under the stars. Great lunch at the Poachers Pocket and a visit to Framlingham Castle.

The hot tub didn’t disappoint to sooth my aches and pains! The Barn is brilliant for us and our dogs loved the meadow. We went on a Banksy hunt and found three from his Spraycation tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Deben Barn – everything we could possibly need was provided. Hope to return – thank you to the WFB Team.

Another wonderful weekend and always excellent in every way. We explored Trimley for the first time, walking. Great Sunday takeaway lunch from the Highwayman.

Most relaxing and comfortable stay, with a break much needed and exceeding our expectations. We enjoyed visiting Framlingham Castle, Aldeburgh and Minsmere.

We had a very relaxing weekend postponed from last year due to lockdown. It was well worth waiting for! The breakfast hamper was delicious and Ernie enjoyed his dog treats!

A very calm, cosy and warm welcome.  It was great to get away from the busy life and listen to the wind and birdsong!  We enjoyed the log burner!  Thank you for a fab, relaxing break.

Once again, a relaxing time here in Suffolk.  We visited Sutton Hoo and enjoyed Snape Maltings with lovely shops and pretty views.  Thank you Carl and the Team for a lovely stay.

Lovely relaxed break.  Everything you can ask for, with all needs taken care of which makes your stay just that little extra special!  Lots of places within easy reach to visit.  Our elderly dogs Holly and Jess had a great time. 

The most dog friendly accommodation that we’ve stayed at.  We enjoyed day trips to Framlingham Castle and Dunwich Heath – highly recommend both.  We hope to come back at some time in the future.

What an amazing place – fantastic barn and wonderful hot tub with superb facilities for our dog too with treats, and the meadow.  Recommend River Green Café/Deli in Debenham and Artizan in Woodbridge for coffee and cake!

There’s nothing that hasn’t been considered in making this a great place for dogs and owners.  With 5 dogs it can be hard to relax, even on holiday, but it’s easy here – secure garden, hot dog wash, tasty dog treats and a dog walk field!  I came here to hide from the world, so didn’t go out much exploring the local area.

Another wonderful stay at Wood Farm.  We didn’t venture far, apart from going out for supplies at the Hog and Hen and Palfrey & Hall.  We both love it here, so we will be back!

Our second stay at the Barns and it didn’t disappoint! We found a lovely friendly little pub – The Crowfield Rose. Thanks to the WFB team for another fab weekend – I’m sure we’ll be back!

Deben Barn is a lovely cosy, peaceful place to stay. A very well equipped Barn and you can see a lot of time and care has been given to everything in and around the Barns. Would recommend Aldeburgh for a visit – interesting independent shops, café, restaurant, great beach for dogs.

Such a wonderful peaceful spot, loved the solitude and the bird song in the morning! We enjoyed walking the dog at Dunwich and the circular walks around the local countryside. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming and homely. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

We have had a lovely time and visited some good places. We would recommend The Unruly Pig Restaurant and The Dog in Grundisburgh. All dog friendly.

The hot tub was welcoming after a day out and the fully enclosed garden great for our dog. The breakfast basket and goodies are a nice touch. Overall a relaxing break.

Thank you for a very relaxing break. The dogs adored your wonderful meadow and had great fun in the long grass. We loved our time here and the hot tub an extra treat. Aldeburgh and Dunwich Heath and beach were a great find.

The barn was cosy and welcoming and we had everything we needed to self-cater. Our dogs had a brilliant time and loved the enclosed meadow.

We appreciate the food hamper, and loved the hot tub. The Dog at Grundisburgh is a great pub with fantastic nice garden, and allowing dogs in the restaurant.

The attention to detail was outstanding, the barn comfortable and the hot tub perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. We would recommend a walk on Dunwich Beach followed by a visit to The Ship Inn at Dunwich.

Lovely barn with everything you need for a cosy break, including the welcoming hot tub. All in all a great place!

Lovely cosy cottage and good location for visiting the seaside and the Suffolk Show. We had a great meal at the Highwayman and the dogs had their own pub lunch too! A nice trip to Aldeburgh for fresh crab and lobster and a visit to Southwold for fish and chips!

Our second time staying at Deben Barn. This place means a lot to us as we got engaged in 2017 here.

Our first holiday away with our Airedale puppy, so we will always remember it fondly. Wonderful hosts, wonderful area and great for dogs! Highlight was a trip to the Maybush Inn and a great day also in Southwold with a visit to the Harbour Inn.
