Burt & Tyler’s Dog Blog
Hi there!
I’m Burt.
And I’m Tyler.
We might be dogs but we can use a computer and have decided to write a Blog (or is it a Dlog?!!) about the fun we have at Woodfarm Barns. Here’s us during our first stay there.
We were originally told about it by our friend Motley who came to stay with his human Tony, in The Granary Barn. He then told us about it, telling us how dog-friendly it is, with a great enclosed garden and that they even leave dog treats for us! So we decided to come and tell our human about it and get her to take us. It turns out she knows Tony who is a dog trainer. This is Motley at The Granary Barn in the Autumn.
Our human is called Lyn and she is a dog trainer too. She’s pretty good with dogs. Sometimes we make it easy for her and do as we are told and other times we just have a laugh and misbehave. This keeps her a) on her toes and b) giving us treats! Imagine a world where humans are as intelligent as dogs! This is Lyn with us two and a couple of our mates recently. As you can see, we have her eating out of our paws.
Anyway, we came and stayed at Woodfarm Barns and loved it! Their dog-friendly holiday cottages are so cosy and comfy and have all the rural, rustic charm that humans seem to like. And with an enclosed garden and dog treats! Even though dogs can come here, they are really clean, which we appreciate too.
It’s really nice to meet other dogs holidaying here as well. They have brilliant walks straight down the lane. There are so many fields with public footpaths running through them and whilst we love the smells and sounds of other animals going on, Lyn, our human just goes on about the peace and quiet and the lovely views.
It’s great bumping into other dogs here on holiday too. Here’s a cool pic of Murphy in one of the fields. We haven’t actually met Murphy but we have mutual friends on Woofer (it’s like Twitter but for dogs).
Here’s a pic of Murphy back in his garden relaxing with a Pimms. Sorry, apparently the Pimms was for his human.
This is Thor and Phoenix over on the fields earlier this year. Their humans Alison and Craig are friends of Motley’s human Tony.
It’s amazing how the word spreads amongst humans, as well as us dogs. We think Social Media is hugely responsible for this. If you’d like to hook up with us on Facebook then you can find me, Burt here and me, Tyler here.
Hope you’ve enjoyed our first Dog-Blog. Do get in touch with us by posting a comment.
