A Suffolk Holiday Cottage for my Ollyday

Most of the time I write these Blog Posts myself so it’s lovely when someone writes them for me. This one is a bit different as although it’s been sent in by a guest, it’s actually dog that has written it. Apparently! Steve & Mike came here in 2014 so when they added Olly to the household they naturally came back to their favourite dog-friendly Suffolk Holiday Cottages for his first Ollyday

Steve sent me an email after their recent stay, saying that “Olly just wanted to say a BIG thank you and he hopes you can put this on your blog for all his friends to see…”

Just dropping you a quick note to say thank you for your wonderful welcome and for a lovely place to stay on my first ever Ollyday. I have a tail to tell…

The journey was okay but I was feeling a bit ruff when I arrived, but the marvellous sign cheered me up no end, I have attached a picture of me and the sign, you will notice that one of my dads got in on the act !

My dog-friendly Suffolk holiday cottage

I was especially chuffed by the welcome biscuit you left for me, a very nice touch, thank you.

The Granary is a very special place, very comfortable, I was particularly pleased with the wonderful garden area, which was very secure, so I could run around and explore knowing that my dads didn’t need to worry, I could see everyone coming and going and I loved the grass slope that I could do rolly pollies down, great fun.

Romantic, luxurious self-catering, holiday cottages in the heart of rural Suffolk

I know that both dads love the Granary and love the peace and quiet.

The countryside around was just perfect for my early morning and evening walks, loved the walk to the church and back every day.

Pin Mill on my Ollyday from my Suffolk holiday cottage

Went to lots of interesting places but my favourite was definitely Pinmill, had a lovely long walk around the area and a paws for a drink in the Butt & Oyster before a paddle in the stream to cool down. In fact I insisted that we went there twice during our stay, they think they are in charge but I do take the lead from time to time !

I can highly recommend Woodfarm Barns as a place to stay if you are Ollydaying in
Suffolk, you would be barking mad to stay anywhere else !

Looking forward to staying again, lots of love Olly.

Hope to see you again soon Carl and thanks again.
