Michelin Star Chef hosts Pop-Up Restaurant & Cookery Class here at Woodfarm
May 2013 saw a highly successful weekend here, where we hosted Suffolk’s first Pop-Up Restaurant, here in Woodfarm House.
Michelin Star Chef Mark Peters served up a range of mouth-watering 6-course meals in the comfortable setting of our beautiful 500-year-old farmhouse.
Mark is a Michelin Star trained Chef of 27 years and has experience in fine dining, corporate catering, and event catering on small and large scales along with team management. He now runs a bespoke event catering & private chef service called Just Imagine Foods. He uses the finest seasonal, local and sustainable ingredients bought to you from quality suppliers to provide clients with great, simple, well-presented food.
Mark loved conjuring up his courses in the farmhouse kitchen and it went down so well with our guest diners we have decided to do it again… with a twist!
The weekend of 15th November we are hosting another Pop-Up but this time, we are also adding a cookery class with Mark as well to make it a whole culinary weekend, all for just £99 a head!
(Mark normally charges a minimum of £125 for private cookery classes!)
The Woodfarm Barns are just £202 for the weekend! So two of you could join in this truly gastronomic experience, with a romantic weekend away in one of our cosy barns, all for just £400!!

We are going to be presenting a 6-course meal on the Friday and Saturday night (both SOLD OUT) and again for Sunday lunch. In addition to your fabulous meal, you will then have a highly interactive cookery class with Mark during the day on Saturday, where everyone will also receive one of Mark’s ‘Just Imagine Foods’ Chef’s aprons and a ‘Just Imagine Foods’ bag for life.
We are also offering the Pop-Up Restaurant experience to local diners too, with the option of the cookery class;
