Casa Trebbio: Air Conditioning and Comfort in the Tuscan Heat
Hello, it’s Carl here, coming to you from the living room of Casa Trebbio in Italy. One of the most common questions we get about Casa Trebbio is whether or not we have air conditioning. The short answer is yes! And if you’re visiting during the summer months when temperatures can reach well into the mid-40s, you’ll certainly appreciate it after a day of sightseeing.
Cooling Down After a Day Out
After a long day of exploring the beautiful surroundings of Lucca and Tuscany, there’s nothing better than returning to a cool, air-conditioned home. Casa Trebbio is equipped with an excellent air conditioning system throughout the house, making it a perfect retreat from the hot Italian sun.
Let me give you a quick tour around the house to show you the air conditioning units we have installed.
The Air Conditioning Units at Casa Trebbio
We’ll start in the kitchen. Now, I filmed this on a lovely sunny day at the end of September, so the doors and windows were open, but we do kindly ask guests to keep them closed when the air conditioning is on – no need to cool the entire planet! You’ll find the first air conditioning unit here in the kitchen.
Next, we move into the dining room, where another unit is installed to keep the space cool and comfortable. Please note that we don’t have air conditioning in the bathroom – air conditioning units and showers are not a great mix!
In the bedroom, we’ve installed yet another air conditioning unit, and there are also a couple of fans for extra comfort. You’ll find that each unit has its own remote control, making it easy to adjust the temperature to your liking. The unit in the living room even has the remote ready on the coffee table for your convenience.
Year-Round Comfort
These air conditioning units are not just for cooling – they are also powerful heaters. So, no matter what time of year you visit Casa Trebbio, you can count on being comfortable, whether you’re cooling off after a summer day or staying warm during the cooler months.
