Twee Gebroeders guided tour

Twee Gebroeders guided tour of the virtual tour

This is a video that I shot, giving you a guided tour of the virtual tour of Twee Gebroeders. It’s part of our series of ‘You Ask, We Answer’ videos and blogs that cover loads of our FAQ’s, or Frequently Asked Questions, but with a (we hope) a really helpful deeper dive.

At Woodfarm Barns & Barges, we understand that planning the perfect getaway involves many questions and uncertainties. To help you navigate through these and to ensure you have the best experience possible, we’ve launched our ‘You Ask, We Answer’ initiative. This approach isn’t just about promoting our Barns, Cottages and Barges; it’s about providing valuable information, solutions, and peace of mind to our prospective guests.

Anyway, this is the video, and the transcript is below it if you wish to go back over anything.

This is what I said…

Hello, it’s Carl, and today I’m excited to take you on a guided tour of Twee Gebroeders, our charming Barge nestled in the heart of Woodbridge, Suffolk. Twee Gebroeders offers a unique stay experience right on the quay, opposite the iconic Tide Mill and overlooking the serene River Deben. Let’s dive into what makes this Barge a delightful retreat for two to four guests.

Location and Overview

Twee Gebroeders enjoys a prime location, making it convenient to stroll into town and explore local attractions. Its proximity to the Tidemill adds historical charm, offering guests a glimpse into Suffolk’s rich maritime heritage.

Accessing the Virtual Tour

To begin your virtual journey, simply scroll down on our homepage and click the “Take the Virtual Tour” button. This will lead you to our virtual tour homepage where you can navigate through various properties including our Barns, Cottages, and Barges, including of course, Twee Gebroeders.

Getting Started

Once on the virtual tour homepage, I recommend expanding the screen for optimal viewing. You’ll notice a comprehensive menu listing all our accommodations, including Twee Gebroeders. Click on the Barge icon to start exploring its unique features.

Exploring Twee Gebroeders

The virtual tour starts inside the Barge, where you can use your cursor to navigate around. Take in the cosy interiors featuring handmade marine-inspired furnishings. The kitchen, equipped with a cast iron range cooker and ample workspace, invites you to prepare meals while enjoying views of the river.

Interior Highlights

Step through the hallway to discover the twin cabin, ideal for children though they are both 6ft, and a well-appointed bathroom with modern amenities including a shower and heated towel rail. The main cabin offers a comfortable double bed surrounded by charming portholes that add to the nautical ambiance.

Deck and Surroundings

Venture up to the deck where you’ll find plenty of seating to relax and soak in the atmosphere. Despite the weather during our video shoot, the view of the Tide Mill and the bustling quayside area remains captivating. Nearby attractions such as the Longshed Museum and local restaurants enhance the Barge’s appeal.

Conclusion

Thank you for joining me on this virtual tour of Twee Gebroeders. I hope you’ve enjoyed discovering what makes this Barge a special place to stay in Suffolk.
