As the pumpkin lanterns fade (I know they’re not even here yet!), we want to offer you a couple of little extras to entice you over for a midweek November or December break in one of our dog-friendly holiday cottages in Suffolk, including three with Hot Tubs!

So how about a perfect treat for humans and hounds alike? For all new midweek November and December bookings, we will have a delicious hamper waiting for you. And you get to choose which one! On top of that, dogs will also come FREE too! If you don’t have a dog, borrow one!

We have had another superb year and as I write, it’s now October and we are still completely fully occupied. We have had record numbers of guests returning time and again this year, as well as recommending us to their friends and family. Again I must thank everyone for this continued support, it’s much appreciated.

Then to top it all, this Summer we reached one of our goals, of getting over 100 Five Star reviews on Tripadvisor! You may have noticed me banging on endlessly about it. I make no apologies for this; I’m proud of this milestone!

So, as we see the slightly calmer period approaching before we hit Christmas, where we are fully booked, again, I thought it’d be nice to give you a little extra. Because you’re worth it. Oh hang on, that’s someone else’s slogan isn’t it? Oh well, you’re worth it anyway!

Deli hampers with your holiday cottage in Suffolk

Humans will be rewarded with a deli-cious hamper from the Deli at the Chilli Farm, with such tasty items as local beer, cheeses, crisps, chutneys, relish and home-made tarts, pies etc, as well as such deli favourites as olives, hummus, crackers, bread-sticks etc.

Tails will be set to ‘wag’ when you choose our Hound Hamper! A whole bunch of toys and treats including one or two goodies from our old friends at Wood Green, the Animals Charity and also some great healthcare products from our new friends at Vetoquinol.

The piece de resistance to the hound hamper though has to be our all new Woodfarm Barns poop bag dispenser! We will be giving these away to dog owners from now on!

Keeping Suffolk clean!

And, as if that wasn’t enough…… dogs go FREE in their holiday cottage in Suffolk!

Yep, our normal charge of £15 per dog is being dropped for midweek stays in November and December too. Our strict standards of cleanliness won’t drop though, just the charge! He can’t believe it!

Make sure you DO NOT tick that you have dogs otherwise you’ll be charged. Just make a note for me on the booking form or tell me so we know they’re coming.

So it’s even more reason for you to treat your four legged friends to a well-earned forage around our hedgerows and fields, laden with the scent of all sorts of exciting animals.

Bonfire season

Many dogs (and humans) are nervous of loud bangs, so an escape to the country may be just what the Dogtor ordered this year. Our holiday cottages in Suffolk are in a very rural location and whilst there are obviously firework displays in Suffok, as there are everywhere else, we tend not to have anything right on our doorstep and I don’t allow fireworks in my cottages. You can have a sparkler or two of course!
