Introduction
Hello, it’s Carl here! In this blog post, I will address a common question we receive from our guests: How close are our Barns and Cottages to one another?
Our Site Layout
Our beautiful property spans a 2-acre site, complemented by an additional 2-acre meadow across the lane. To give you a better understanding, I’ll walk you through our location and the proximity of our accommodations.
Exploring Our Accommodations
Woodfarm House and Meadow View Cottage
Woodfarm House is situated with a courtyard garden, featuring a covered hot tub room. Adjacent to it is Meadow View Cottage, which boasts a large garden and a hot tub at the garden’s end.
The Granary Barn
The Granary Barn has an expansive garden but does not include a hot tub. All our gardens are fully enclosed to ensure privacy.
Our Five Barns
We have five Barns located in the meadow:
- Alde Barn: Surrounded by hedging and featuring a hot tub.
- Deben Barn: With a hot tub on the patio.
- Gipping Barn: Enclosed by hedging, with its own hot tub.
- Orwell Barn: Similar layout to Gipping Barn, with a hot tub and garden.
- Stour Barn: Includes a courtyard garden and a hot tub.
Privacy and Seclusion
We have taken great care to ensure each Barn and Cottage is private. Mature hedging and trees, including many Willows, create natural barriers that enhance privacy.
Virtual Tour
For a more immersive experience, I recommend taking our virtual tour. You’ll see that the hedging and trees are far more mature now, making the spaces even more secluded.
Our Private Meadow
Across the lane, we have a large 2-acre meadow where dogs can run freely. Additionally, there is a quieter section within the meadow, fenced separately, for a more serene experience.
