Gipping Barn

SLEEPS 2 : Gipping Barn is the perfect spot for anyone looking to completely switch off and get away from the noise. Guests always tell us it feels like a real “Hansel and Gretel” hideaway, especially with the mezzanine bedroom and the wooden sleigh bed that makes you feel like you are in a proper rustic retreat. You’ve got an open living area with high oak beams and a cosy log burner that’s already set up waiting for you, plus underfloor heating so it is always toasty.

The standout for most is the private, fully-enclosed garden with its own covered Hot Tub room, meaning you can have a soak and relax regardless of what the British weather is doing. Like all our places, the dogs are the priority here, they stay for free and have a massive two-acre meadow to run about in just across the lane. It is a peaceful, well-equipped bolthole where everything has been thought out so you can just turn up, light the fire or the BBQ, and relax.

• Lounge with high ceilings, exposed oak beams, leather sofa, wood-burning stove, and Smart TV.
• Handmade wooden staircase leads up to the mezzanine bedroom.
• Ground-floor shower room, with fixed rose ‘watering can’ style shower, loo, basin, and luxury hand soap.
• Egyptian cotton bedding, towels and robes.
• Fully equipped kitchen-diner with a range cooker, Belfast sink, fridge, microwave, kettle, four-slice toaster, and a Welsh dresser.
• Lounge with bay window sofa, adding charm to the open-plan space.
• Fully enclosed courtyard garden, with a fabulous ‘indoor-outdoor’ and large Private Hot Tub, leading onto a patio with BBQ and outdoor dining area.
• Underfloor heating is included, and logs for the fire are available at cost.
• We warmly welcome up to three dogs in all our Barns and Cottages, each with a fully enclosed garden.
• We also have a secure two-acre meadow gives dogs space to run and play, with a smaller area for older or nervous dogs.
• Ample off-road parking is included.

Gipping Barn sits in our secluded meadow next to The Granary, Woodfarm House, and Meadow View Cottage.

Mature trees, a koi and goldfish pond, and a waterfall feature create a peaceful setting. There’s a shared decked area by the pond – perfect for sunsets.
