Woodfarm House Finer Details
Entering through the kitchen door, you are greeted by your large farmhouse kitchen, with its big range cooker, butler sink, and an old, informal farmhouse table to sit around for a natter. The hall leads through to the spacious sitting room with its beautiful inglenook fire place and a further ‘snug’, which is your dining room.
The wealth of centuries old exposed oak beams give this house such a magical and cosy, yet opulent feel. You really will be stepping back in time when you come to stay.
A quirky staircase leads from the lounge up to your bedroom with its king-sized bed. There’s also a dressing room, which leads through to your bathroom, with its wonderful ‘ball & claw’ footed roll-top bath.
Hot Tub Heaven
Outside this holiday cottage in Suffolk you have a fully enclosed private ‘courtyard’ garden, with a fabulous ‘indoor outdoor’ room, with your luxury Hot Tub, as well as a charcoal BBQ, and table and chairs for Al Fresco dining.
Dog Owners
Woodfarm House is ‘dog-friendly’ with an enclosed kitchen garden, and we accept up to 3 dogs. We even leave dog treats as well as a delicious local breakfast basket for the humans!
We also have a huge fully secure two acre meadow for our four-legged guests to run around and play with each other, along with seating for the two-legged guests to chat as well! There’s a smaller section inside for nervous or older dogs to exercise on their own.
Your Cottage lies on the outskirts of the village of Stonham Aspal on the Suffolk Tourist Route, along which many popular and interesting places are found, it is within easy striking distance of the lovely Suffolk Coastal destinations like Southwold, Thorpness, Dunwich Heath, Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Orford.

What a wonderful place to stay with the dogs. Thank you for all the extras, we have had a lovely break with the family, just what we needed.
Thank you for a lovely week, the House was everything we could have asked for; special touches such as dog treats, mugs. We especially loved the private dog field which was perfect.
Many thanks for a warm welcome and comfortable stay. Enjoyed the walk to Crowfield Church and to the Village pub – great service and friendly people. Recommend a bike ride to the other pubs around. Great Suffolk country air!
Thank you for letting us enjoy your most welcoming home.
Loved it! Back for New Year’s Eve!
Thank you for a lovely stay in the farmhouse to celebrate my 60th birthday. We had a lovely weekend.
A super stay in the farmhouse. A warm welcome and breakfast basket stocked with tasty goodies. Found some super pubs with log fires and excellent food – the Queen at Dennington and Bell at Crettingham. We did enjoy the illuminated walk at Helmingham Hall.
Thank you Carl for being so great in letting us use this fabulous cottage – it’s beautiful! The marvellous treats for the dogs, who had a fab time and the basket of food was lovely.

We have had a fabulous chilled time here, as always, clean, well stocked and a true home from home break. A huge thank you to all the Team who are friendly and cheerful!
All our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wood Farm Barns. It is well situated for lots of attractions to suit all ages from 9 to 86! See you again, as a weekend is not long enough!

We had a lovely family break. The house is a fantastic base and we visited many great places while we were here. The Ringo’s at Suffolk ski centre were a great hit with the children and very close to Jimmy’s Farm which is worth a visit. Thank you.

Had an amazing Easter Weekend. As usual, the attention to detail, the lovely welcome basket all go to make a wonderful stay. We will be back!
Lovely spot despite a few bumped heads from the low beams! Hamper really welcome and the dog enjoyed the paddock.
A beautiful old cottage – feel like we’ve stepped back in time. Spent time playing games and lighting the fire. A very restful break. Thank you.

A lovely short stay in the Farmhouse. A great location to explore Suffolk. Barny the puppy loved his treats – so nice to be somewhere so relaxed and welcoming to dogs. Thank you, we all wish we could stay longer.
We have all had the most amazing time celebrating my 50th birthday. We used the main farmhouse as a “hub” for everyone to come together. My son describes this place as “it gives you a big warm hug as soon as you step inside the farmhouse”
