Meadow View Cottage finer details
‘Meadow View Cottage’ is tucked away at the edge of Woodfarm and has a landing window looking over towards the two-acre dog walking meadow, hence the name.
Entering through the front door, the lobby has a quirky staircase leading up to your bedroom with its King-Sized bed, and a vanity unit. The lobby also takes you through to the main part of your Cottage, starting with a spacious sitting room with a beautiful inglenook fireplace. This then leads through to your kitchen/ dining room, and ‘wet’ room with its large walk-in ‘rainfall’ shower
The wealth of 500 year old exposed oak beams give this Cottage such a magical and cosy, yet opulent feel. You really will be stepping back in time when you come to stay.
Hot Tub Heaven
Outside this holiday cottage in Suffolk you have a fully enclosed private garden, with a fabulous ‘indoor outdoor’ room, with your luxury Hot Tub tucked into the trees, with a lovely view back to the Cottage. There’s also a charcoal BBQ, and table and chairs for Al Fresco dining.
Meadow View Cottage is ‘dog-friendly’ with an enclosed garden, and we accept up to 3 dogs. We even leave dog treats as well as a delicious local breakfast basket for the humans!
We also have a huge fully secure two acre meadow for our four-legged guests to run around and play with each other, along with seating for the two-legged guests to chat as well! There’s a smaller section inside for nervous or older dogs to exercise on their own.
Your Cottage lies on the outskirts of the village of Stonham Aspal on the Suffolk Tourist Route, along which many popular and interesting places are found, it is within easy striking distance of the lovely Suffolk Coastal destinations like Southwold, Thorpness, Dunwich Heath, Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Orford.
All our luxury holiday cottages are down a tiny countryside lane, a few hundred yards outside the village. Bikes are provided FREE of charge for you to enjoy these pretty lanes.

Meadow View Cottage Reviews
At the end of 2020 we divided what was our large Farmhouse, and retained the name ‘Woodfarm House’ for the other half. We named this half ‘Meadow View Cottage’. These reviews are the original Woodfarm House ones, as the guests did experience what is now ‘Meadow View Cottage’. In time we will remove these and use all new ones, but for now, you can get a sense of how much guests enjoyed this part of the Farmhouse.
What a wonderful place to stay with the dogs. Thank you for all the extras, we have had a lovely break with the family, just what we needed.
Thank you for a lovely week, the House was everything we could have asked for; special touches such as dog treats, mugs. We especially loved the private dog field which was perfect.
Many thanks for a warm welcome and comfortable stay. Enjoyed the walk to Crowfield Church and to the Village pub – great service and friendly people. Recommend a bike ride to the other pubs around. Great Suffolk country air!
Thank you for letting us enjoy your most welcoming home.
Loved it! Back for New Year’s Eve!
Another relaxing stay, a lovely 12 mile walk down the Saliors Path from Snape to Aldeburgh. Excellent meal at the Dog at Grundisburgh.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the cottage is so beautiful with hidden treasures. This is a perfect little piece of paradise!
We loved the hot tub with a relaxing few days away.
