It's called the Donaldas Trumpet Moth due to its head display. It resides in USA but occasionally gets blown to these shores and found near golf courses.....

No, I think it’s the Boris Bluffer, it resides in fridges usually, but must have escaped! It’s a real pest, let’s hope we can get rid of it soon...

It's beautiful x

Very beautiful, it’s a Ghost Moth, hopefully it’s name indicates the future careers / public life of the two scummers it’s tufty hair bares resemblance too

He is sooo cute 💕

It’s definitely Boris !!!🤣🤣🤣

I think his name is Boris

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all the Dads out there!

I'm very lucky that I have one, and that I am one.

The first pic is my Dad (you'll need to open the pic to see him). As you can see, the reason he is laughing is my Mum. She goes a long way to explaining why I am like I am, which in turn she gets from her Dad!

The second pic is my amazing Daughter Lauren over at Snape Maltings. She makes me prouder every day. And when you consider that she has been around on this planet for almost 11,000 days, that is a LOT of pride

Have a great day Dads xx

Ok, who would like a laugh at my expense?

Not quite sure where to begin really, but as this unfolds, it'll dawn upon you as to where it ended up!

There I was the other day, innocently transporting a dining table from one place to another, with the main body of the table on top of my car. I have a large 4 wheel drive car with a roof rack and I regularly transport things on top of it.

I am an experienced roof-racker you might say. I carry all sorts, from tables, to chairs, my kayak, things for exhibitions when we promote Woodfarm at various places etc. It's fair to say that I know what I'm doing. Usually.

Many of our guests go to Needham Market, a pretty little town just ten mins from Woodfarm Barns. There's a wonderful lake there. It's also where my Doctors' surgery is. There's also a very low railway bridge next to the lake.

On my way from A to B the other day, I figured I'd just divert quickly to pick up my prescription from said Doctor.

I had a lot on my mind. I was distracted. One might even say that I wasn't fully concentrating on the task of moving the aforementioned dining table, which is actually a family heirloom belonging to a friend.

As you can see from the photo, the height of the railway bridge is 2.3m. Now, when I secured the precious heirloom to the roof of my vehicle, I didn't measure the height. Why would I? I was only going from A to B. I had no thoughts of any diversions until I was in transit.

Ok, will leave you to work out the ending, but let's just say that 'Laurel and Hardy', or possibly 'Only Fools and Horses' spring to mind.

I can tell you that once I'd gone under the railway bridge there was no longer a requirement to finish the journey with the table on the roof rack, as it all fitted neatly inside the car.

😫😲🤷

This time last week I was in my car on the top deck of a weird looking train in a tunnel under the sea, on my way to that there Europe what we left.

My mate told me that we would be able to see fishes out of the window when we get really deep, and he wasn't wrong!

Here's a pic I took whilst sitting in my car, looking out of the window of the train. I was amazed, as I'm sure you are!

You make Jacques Cousteau look like an amateur, where is Sponge Bob SquarePants?🐟🐟🐟

Sunstroke I think they call it... 🙈😂😂xx

Try this mode of transportation next time 😂

Are you sure you didn't take the wrong train to The Pacific Ocean ?!

You crack me up with you wit. Always make me smile 😊

😂😂

Been through that tunnel, a lot, never had a view like that, the fish must have know you was waiting with your camera xx

They must have re-populated the channel then since I went on said train 🤷🏻‍♀️🐠🐡🦈🤣🤣

That image is a bit fishy though I'm sure you expect us to fall for it hook, line and sinker.

6 years since I spotted Superman in a car park in Woodbridge and wrote to the council about how disgusted I was at them charging an actual Superhero to park!

In fairness they did write a brilliant reply as you can see. Sadly Budgens didn't when I wrote to admonish them! Oh well

Susan Keeble is a legend 😊

It's time for a Midweek Moan...

Saw this ad when I was putting in petrol at £1.88 a litre.

Yes Esso, I'm sure you would "applaud" people driving to a petrol station, with the express purpose of simply putting petrol in their car to drive back home again, thereby buying more of the thing you sell!

Of course you do! Do you think we are stupid? Maybe you do? We have no choice but to buy the thing you sell if we want live our lives. We don't buy it cos we want to! And I do have a hybrid car, so I can try and buy less of your product.

Surely a "planned journey" would be one where one allows actual time to get fuel on the next journey? We would spend less money, and do less damage to the planet wouldn't we? Oh, but you wouldn't sell as much of your thing

How on earth is this ad ok in an industry making a profit of £22bn in a quarter?!?!?!

Ok, and relax.

Who's up for a regular Midweek Moan? I could just save up my whining and do it every week to get us over the hump of the week. Or we could share Midweek Moans.

This really is dreadful marketing morally but it will work, people will fill up at that local station before heading out because it’s been suggested they’re better people for doing so. I have a PHEV with around 38 mile range all electric and I will be going 100% electric next time however the same companies also charge an absolute fortune for motorway electric charging that often exceeds the cost of petrol. Ionity charge 69p/kwH!! 😬

Patronising isn’t it?

I went to visit relatives last week filled up before I went (because I know how much more the petrol stations e route are) £1.71, get to my destination (250 miles away) refill £1.70, next day in passing same petrol station I filled up at day before its £1.74, following day its £1.78-a leap of 8p in 3 days. Before I leave to come back I fill up (motorway virtually all the way). M5 closed because of an accident so 4hr journey becomes 7hrs. Luckily hybrid car so sat trying to get off motorway it’s on battery. Following day I fill up again the £1.71 of 6 days ago is now £1.81-how on Earth can the petrol companies justify that?

£1.98 here

I love the idea of a midweek moan, I think most of us would be moaning about the greedy fuel companies at the moment! 😬

Filled our average family car up last week before driving from south midlands to Northumberland £300 miles and it cost £105.

Idiots

Disgusting that we can be legally overcharged so much for what is still an essential for many to get to work or buy food. I believe July 4th there are planned demonstrations on many roads across the UK aimed at bringing roads to a standstill - not sure how will help but for lorry drivers their jobs rely on affordable fuel so understand why they feel they need to do this.

Woodfarm House and Meadow View Cottage have very quirky staircases as they were built 500 years ago, so I decided to build a new one with nice wide, even, straight stairs.

We don't need outside walls as well do we??!?! Building regs gone mad!

🤣🤷

And no safety rail!! That would be me with broken bones then😢

Heard of open planned stair cases but this is something else. Think you need to go back to the drawing board and maybe do some 'colouring' this time. 🤣

Ummm no!

What the......🤣🤣🤣

I’d be falling down those stairs straight off …if I even got to the top in the first place. An accident just waiting to happen. Where are ‘health and safety’ when you need them

I was sentenced to hard time in a French prison yesterday.

Ok, we were detained slightly as the authorities wanted to X-Ray my car on the way through. There were three of us to a cell and they didn't feed us or anything, but I guess that's just Brexit for you 🤷

We got let out for good behaviour and made it home safely 😆
